Voter Connection Series
The Voter Connection series will host several candidates from federal to city levels of the midterm election each Saturday afternoons. In this open forum series candidates will give a short speech and then open the floor to an informal Q & A. Light refreshments will be served. The series began in September and will go through November 3rd, ending with an informational session about when/where to vote in this year’s election.
French Taste & Voter Connections (Saturdays)

Star Wars Reads
The UND Bookstore will be hosting a Star Wars Reads event on Saturday, October 20th. This event has something for everyone.
We will have story time along with refreshments at 10:30 am and activities throughout the day.

The annual after hours event is one you don't want to miss, get your costumes on and bring the whole family for trick or treating, games, food , prizes and the infamous haunted stacks maze.
Farm to Table
Farm to Table - University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC)
Join the University of Minnesota Crookston community for a celebration of Northern Minnesota grown and raised foods. Enjoy an evening dinner prepared by local chefs, featuring foods grown by UMC students, alumni and friends. UMC senior, Caleb Rempel and UMC Horticulture Lecturer, Rick Abrahamson, have been growing a multitude of vegetables and sunflowers for this Farm to Table event.
Savor vintage and select wines produced by Fantesca Estate & Winery and local poultry grown in central Minnesota by Protein Alliance.
UMC's inaugural Farm to Table event kicks off at 5pm, November 2 in the University Teaching & Outreach Center(UTOC).
6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m.

Grief Journeys for Adults Support Group
Hospice of the Red River Valley offers a free ongoing grief support group for adults 18 years and older who have experienced a loss through death. The group meets on the second Thursday of each month from 1:30-3 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 3rd St. NW, East Grand Forks, Minn. This group is free and open to the public. For more information or questions, call (800) 237-4629 and ask to speak to the bereavement department.
Grief During the Holidays
Managing grief in times of celebration can be overwhelming. Suffering the loss of a loved one is difficult any time of the year, but the holiday season can intensify feelings of loss. This presentation will enable attendees to identify and learn how to manage the mixed and painful emotions that can surface when grieving during the holidays. Participants will also learn important self-care strategies. This class is free and open to the public; no registration required for this class.
Riverside Christian School Fall Banquet
